The last time Huracán won two consecutive derbies against San Lorenzo and the strange 46-year-old particularity.
The 2-0 win of the Globo against the Ciclón in the Nuevo Gasómetro meant the second consecutive win of the Parque Patricios team, something that did not happen in more than four decades.

The Huracán 2-0 win against San Lorenzo in the Nuevo Gasómetro brought some marks that the Globo broke after decades. The most resonant one, even in the preview, was clearly the 25 years without victories of the quemeros in the Ciclón's field. However, another mark that the Parque Patricios team achieved is winning two consecutive matches against the Cuervos.
With the 1-0 in the Tomás Adolfo Ducó in the first semester of the year and the recent 2-0 on Sunday, Huracán returned to defeat in two consecutive occasions against their lifelong rival after 46 years. In 1980, the biggest derby in the world was played in four occasions. The first derby was for San Lorenzo, which won 2-1 on April 3. Then, the two quemeros celebrations came. First, on July 13, with a 1-0 result, and the second on September 28, by 2-1.
The last time Huracán won two consecutive derbies
However, the curious thing in those two opportunities was that, although the localía alternated in a habitual way, both matches were played in Amancio Alcorta 2544. ¿The reason? At that time, the blue and white team could not play in their stadium since 1979 and, to face the Globo on date five of the 1980 National, they made of local in the Ducó. In the fourth encounter, CASLA won 3-2.
In turn, to find the last time the Boedo team celebrated in consecutive form, it is not necessary to go back so far in time. It was between April 2016 and May 2017, when they won three consecutive matches (two in the Bajo Flores and one in P.P): 1-0 on date 12 (interzonal) for the 2016 Transition Tournament, 2-0 in the ninth round and a 1-0 on date 24, being these two last ones for the 2016-2017 First Division.
The draw predominates in the last time
From then on, the draw was the most predominant result in this derby. 17 matches were played after that 1-0 in May 2017 and they equalized in 11 occasions. On the other hand, San Lorenzo won one match, while Huracán five. Thus, the Globo is three points away from equaling their best streak of victories against the Ciclón. A streak that has not been broken since four decades exactly, when in 1976 they won five consecutive matches (3-1, 3-1, 4-2, 2-1 and 2-1).
Currently, San Lorenzo de Almagro is in fifth place in the Liga Profesional Argentina, with 24 points and a streak of DDWWL in their last six matches. Additionally, they are seven points behind the leaders of the competition, Rosario Central.
