Rubén Darío Insúa, the coach of San Lorenzo de Almagro, is considering changes to his team for Sunday's clásico against Boca Juniors. The match will be played at 14:45 at the Pedro Bidegain stadium, as the team aims to return to winning ways after a recent draw.

Insúa is focused on assembling the side that will seek victory, the manager stated. Among the variations he is analysing are the inclusion of Ezequiel Herrera and Mathías De Ritis for Ignacio Perruzzi and Teo Rodríguez Pagano. Insúa would maintain a three-centre-back defensive line, with José Devecchi in goal.

The lineup trialled during the week features Herrera, Danilo Arboleda and Guzmán Corujo in defence. Emiliano Amor and De Ritis would occupy the flanks, with Nicolás Tripichio and Manuel Insaurralde in central midfield. The attack would be formed by Facundo Farías, Alexis Cuello and Rodrigo Auzmendi, the team's top scorer this season with six goals in seventeen appearances.

Ins and outs

Forward Diego Herazo is now available after recovering from a muscle injury. His presence gives Insúa more attacking options for a key match. Meanwhile, Gustavo Del Prete will be assessed in upcoming training sessions to determine his availability.

The confirmed absentees are Nicolás Blanco, Gonzalo Abrego and Martín Río, who continue to struggle with recurring muscle problems and will not be fit. San Lorenzo, tenth in the Liga Profesional Argentina with eleven points, needs a home win to climb the table.

The last meeting between the two sides ended in a 1-1 draw back in March. For this new chapter, Insúa's team arrives after a 1-1 draw against Independiente in Avellaneda, where Farías scored the equaliser following an assist from Arboleda. The upcoming fixture, against a Boca side sitting fifth, is a chance to improve a record of four goals scored and six conceded. Full squad details are available in our squad section.
